Some pages recommend The Operator Standard app. Links to the app go through a tracked redirect (/go/app), so the team can see that a visit came from this site. If you subscribe after clicking, the team benefits. You pay the same price either way.
Which links are tracked?
Links pointing to /go/app are tracked and carry a sponsored label in the page code. They are also marked in the text with a note such as "Tracked link." Links to research papers, public health sites and other sources are ordinary links and are not tracked or paid.
What this means for the content
You should read app mentions knowing who wrote them. I try to make that easy:
- The app is never presented as necessary. Every play can be run with paper or the free tools on this site.
- Prices are stated with the date they were checked. As of October 30, 2026, the official site lists $50 per month or $500 per year.
- Competing methods and tools are described on their merits, with links to their own sources.
- The free tools stay free and do not require an account.
